The Bendix Radio Corporation was involved in the construction of the electronic systems aboard the ARIA Aircraft. This picture displays a mockup of the ARIA bulkhead to check the components in an on the bulkhead with their associated cabling. This picture was taken between late 1964 to early 1965 in the R building at Bendix Radio Joppa Road, Towson, Maryland.
Bill Mackey is pictured on the left. He worked at Bendix Radio and was one of the Antenna/RF designers on the original ARIA system. His scope of work involved everything in the radome except the x-band radar.
